I loved this ep! but yeah, felt it was pretty clear that while dean needed a break from the sam-angst, he is also lonely without him.

agree that lucifer didn't send them to the airplane...and if there's a player that powerful around, it could have also resurrected castiel. maybe michael? as a god stand-in? dunno...
