Every time I see a Bumpits commercial, I keep expecting Sarah Palin to show up in it.

-- I had the first season of True Blood on my computer from a long while ago and went ahead and watched the rest of it even though the first few episodes did nothing for me. Yeah, I'm still not exactly what you'd call excited about it, although I'm getting season two just to finish it off. I'm not all spazzy and flaily or anything, but ... eh, what the hell?

-- I'm working on a new idea that may or may not work out. I don't want to jinx it by saying too much, because that's been ringing the death knell for most of my story ideas lately, but it's growing quite nicely so far, so I'm crossing my fingers.

-- My mom called before and even though she's known for two weeks that the netbook is busted and got sent back to Dell (I've been pretty vocal with my whining and personal pity parties, let me tell you), when I told her Dell called me yesterday to say they got the netbook, she was like, "Wait, I thought it was the LAPTOP that was going back!" *headsmack* I wouldn't be in the mood I've been lately if it weren't partly due to missing the netbook. (Or any working computer, really.)

-- Tomorrow I get to go grocery shopping! I should not be so thrilled to go grocery shopping, but I'm so out of food it's unreal.

-- NEW SPN TONIGHT WOOHOO! And Project Runway and Flash Forward, and then tomorrow there should be new Never Mind The Buzzcocks to watch. Aw, I love Thursdays. :D

EDIT: Also, the boys' performance from last night's Glee --

OTHER EDIT: Holy crap! Eric Braeden's leaving the show?! Fuck, he's been on there almost as long as I've been alive.

OMG. *squirrel noises* Glee is not coming out on DVD soon enough, people. Must buy show.

Yeah, last week was fucking nuts with soap news.

Eric leaving was like Monday. The actor who played Aidan, Thorsten Kaye and Beth Ehlers announced the were not going to L.A. when All My Children moves in January.

Sarah Joy Brown started filming Bold & the Beautiful the day after she left General Hospital was Tuesday.

Jonathan Jackson returning as Lucky on General Hospital was Wednesday. Greg Vaughn was also fired on Wednesday.

And, the topper of it all, James Franco joining General Hospital for a two month stint was Thursday.

And now Rebecca Budig has announced she's returning to All My Children.

Soaps haven't had that kind of a news week since Passions left the air.

Seriously, hasn't he been there even longer than that? I remember him from, like, tiny tot-hood.

Glee!

Ya know, I kept hearing about Glee and how much people were expecting it to be awesome, etc. And I randomly caught one episode, not expecting much. I'm not that kid; not glee-errific, never sang, only can deal with Rent and Avenue Q for musicals.

And now I can't stop watching the show. I feel like I need to re-evaluate myself or something...

... stupid catchy tunes and bright faces!

It is almost unreasonable that Glee should be able to pump out not one but several stupendous and rewatchable professional musical numbers every week. What television show has been able to do this, (not counting Buffy because that was just a single, very special episode)? None! Hell, there are *movies* that have been made with huge budgets that cannot seem to squeeze out a watchable musical number, let alone two or three. It's really jaw-dropping how good these people are.

I loved when Braeden first appeared in Titanic and there was that murmur of recognition in the audience. I thought And people say they don't watch soaps...

(My soap experience was some Guiding Light in the mid-80s and All My Children in the early 90s, because Don & Mike were talking about it on their show. I like to say I saw enough to know why Soapdish is funny.)
goodbyebird: Batman returns: Catwoman seen through a glass window. (TB Jessica she's a nice girl)

My feelings about s1 of TB were pretty much the same. I gave it s2 due to it being Alan Ball, and I'm glad I did because I really liked it a lot more.

And Glee is such a happymaking series!
