Leave it to me ...
... to have two chapters due to the agent-shaped person, get one done, take one look at the one I was going to finish next, and say, "Fuck it, I'm going to try finishing that one eight chapters ahead."
See, this is why I was smart enough to promise ahead of time that the chapter a day I'd finish for the next two weeks would probably not be in order. In which "probably not be in order" means "only be in order through some crazy weird random roll of the dice."
In related news, I've only had two hours of sleep tonight, as it was either nap or pass out in my chair. Heh. I'm so glad I don't have to go to work until five p.m.
