So this is supposedly the list of couples on SYTYCD this week:

Jakob/Ellenore
Russell/Mollee
Ryan/Noelle
Nathan/Kathryn
Legacy/Ashleigh

My thoughts:

JAKOB/ELLENORE OMG. I'm not exactly the stage can contain that much awesome. I also read somebody speculating that they might get Wade Robson, and just in case you weren't previously aware, reading the phrase "Jakob and Ellenore choreographed by Wade Robson" causes multiple orgasms. At least in me.

Okay, here's my thing with Russell and Mollee. Russell and Noelle turned out to be meh, and Mollee and Nathan ... well, you know my thoughts on them. So they get to swap partners this week and they get each other, and I saw that pairing and made a face. 'Cause there's certainly the opportunity for this to go very well, but I just can't picture their personalities meshing at all, especially considering Noelle was a tamer version of Mollee and she and Russell were like a low-charisma zone that occasionally picked up.

Then again, Ryan and Noelle? Ryan and Noelle could either beat that low-charisma zone to a new low not seen since Channing and Philip, or they could spark personality in one another. I don't know ... they were the low-key ones in their previous pairings, and now together it could either draw something out of them we haven't seen before, or it could crash and burn.

My thoughts on Nathan and Kathryn are that if Nathan takes Kathryn down, he's dead to me. I'm kinda hoping she'll lift him up the same way she did Legacy, but I'm not holding my breath. I kinda wish he'd been thrown to Ashleigh, or better yet that they'd brought back Melissa from last season and made him dance with her. I just want to see him dance with somebody who's not five, and while Kathryn's not immature she's also too sweet by half. I want to see him dance with someone who's more mature AND willing to smack him into line.

As for Legacy and Ashleigh, I'm a little worried. Apparently she's been tweeting that she's having a hard week, and I think somebody said they're doing disco for one of their dances, which ... ick. I didn't even like disco when Jeanette and Brandon did it, and I have a hard time picturing Legacy doing disco. I love the little puppy, and I feel like if he were doing disco with Kathryn I wouldn't be worried, and Ashleigh's one of my favorite girls right now, BUT. Still doesn't change the fact that I'm worried for both of them.

Effing word on the awesomeness of Jakob + Ellenore + Wade. If that comes true I'm totes counting it as my birthday present.

I'm really hoping that hitting the bottom three the past couple of weeks may have knocked Mollee and Nathan (okay, mostly Nathan) down a peg. I'm really hoping that they'll be the next two to go, but with my luck it'll be Ryan and Noelle. Not that I expect Nathan and Mollee to last much longer than that, though ... I think the judges sort of burned the audience out on those two but good.

At this point I feel like Jakob and Ellenore will be the top two, so I cannot WAIT to see them dance together. *flappyhands*

I'm not sure what her Twitter name is. They mentioned she (and Mollee, and I imagine the others as well) had one on the TWoP spoiler board. She's totally grown on me, too. I think it helped her a lot having Jakob. She and Ryan both benefited from having the two best dancers on the show as their partners.

I think what helped Ashleigh is not only did she have a good partner, but that she clearly had a rapport with said partner. Because one of the strikes against her at the beginning was that she came off as fake, like a stereotypical pagent queen/sorority girl who smiles at you but doesn't mean it. So seeing her have fun with Jakob and clearly enjoy being with him (and vice versa) added some humanity to her. Now I totally want to watch the two of them go shopping and talk about boys.

*snerk* Yeah, that was one of the things that made me like them, that somewhere along the line they figured out how to fake looking like a couple when the performance called for it rather than a girl and her best gay boyfriend.

I just find it hilarious that Jeanine knows both Billy Bell and Jakob. It makes me picture her going everywhere with a wee gay entourage. :D

Yeah, from what I've heard, he's got a pass back to Vegas next year. Actually, I could swear it's a pass to the top 40 and Brandon just got a pass to Vegas, but I'm not entirely sure on that.
