Huh.

My brother's watched most of the first season of Dexter and fucking loves it.

Coming from someone who barely watches TV save for the occasional Futurama or Family Guy episode, I'm impressed.

I suggested Heroes next. It may be flawed, but it's right up his alley and he can watch it all on my Netflix account.

I bet he'd also like The Venture Brothers. Heroes was wonderful in its first season, not sure why it went so very, very wrong.

I will never forget how my sister and I fell in love with Dexter while staying at my aunt's house a few Christmases ago. After seeing the first episode, we stayed up until forever o'clock abusing her HBO on demand, with my mom snoring on the couch and occasionally waking up to demand that someone bring her up to speed. That first season was one of the best ever televised.

Dexter does have that effect on people it seems. My dad - whose normal television viewing is restricted to current affairs and news and the occasional motorcycle race - ADORES Dexter with a passion that I find slightly creepy.
