Dear Stupak: I hope you wake up tomorrow to find out you're bleeding from the crotch.

Fuck, yeah. I'm classy like that. Mostly because I spent the entire day feeling like shit only to come home, check the calendar, count days, and remember why. *hands in air*

Also, I have started watching Top Gear episodes. Fuck it, I'm hooked. Perhaps I shouldn't have started with series ten (it was on Netflix to watch instantly) so that five episodes in I'm watching them race across London. 'Cause that was more than a little awesome. It's also reminding me once again that, seriously, I should have been born British.

Oh! And I got some writing done today. Not a whole hell of a lot of it, but I got my [livejournal.com profile] apocalyptothon assignment started and did a bit of editing on Heroine Addiction. (Emphasis on "a bit", but still.)

Is that the one with the boat-bike-public transport race? I love it.

Top Gear is made of awesome. Make sure to watch the Botswana special!

Oh no, bleeding from the crotch isn't enough. I want him to find himself nauseated, bloated, vomiting, dizzy, and insomniac, with cravings for chocolate doughnuts and a complete aversion to any protein source. And then he should gain 30-50 pounds and have sciatica and waddle everywhere and be told he's a wimp for being nervous about pushing a basketball through his ass.

::coughs:: It's possible I'm still a bit bitter about the whole pregnancy thing.

I love Top Gear more than I probably should. I initially watched it for the Celebrity in a Reasonably Priced Car segment, then started watching the challenges, too. It was all downhill from there.

Just wait 'til you make it to the Vietnam special. Everyone gets screwed in some way. :D

OMG Top Gear! Love love love. The specials are all KINDS of awesome. Seconding the recommendation to watch the Botswana special ASAP

I feel so late to Top Gear - I only started watching over Christmas, but I absorbed every freaking season in about two weeks. Fuck, it's an awesome show.

I cannot tell you how many times that show has kept me from losing it, but it's a lot of times. It's beyond awesome. I regard it as a present to me (it's not? you lie! *g*). I'm so glad that you're watching it. It makes me laugh so much, and it's a serious blessing.

My friend got me hooked on it right before finals. It was not pretty. Be sure to watch the Africa and the Vietnam specials.

As a fully-fledged eco-worrier, I am permanently embarrassed by how much I love Top Gear.

Top Gear is the best show in the world ever. I adore it. And yes, you must definitely watch the specials, they're epic! Esp. the Botswana special, which is really all about Richard and his love for Oliver (his car).

It's a very special bond, a boy and his car he bought on a lark but drove across salt flats. :)

It's all so touching, especially their lovely reunion back home.

Make me wanna sniffle a little and ruffle his hair.

The US race with the redneck baiting was awesome, too. (If loving that part makes me a bad person, I'm okay with that.)

BBC America has been running it and I've gotten my mother hooked. I'm somewhat bitter that my collection of TG torrents were among the files lost when my computer crashed the December before last, because I had entire seasons (and I think I hadn't finished watching all of the ones I'd acquired, either).
