(no subject)

I got all of my hair hacked off today before I went to work by a professional. (Meaning I had it cut by a nice hairdresser to chin-length.)

It's not bad now, but once I get home and straighten it, it'll look sweet. (Stupid wavy hair. *waves clenched fist*)

That's . . . eerily similar to what I just did. Seriously. I just got back from the Hair Cuttery. Mine looks kind of Eighties, 'cause of the floofy waviness, but I'm not sure if I'm cool enough to make it be Ironic Eighties Hair, or if I should just run with it and start saying "toepick!" all the time.

Have you injured your elbow yet trying to brush hair that doesn't exist anymore?

No, although I keep touching the ends like I forgot it somewhere. (I got mine done at Hair Cuttery, too. Now, that's eerily similar.)

I already have a hair straightener, but I also picked up one of those flattening brushes and some smoothing gel. It doesn't look bad at all, but I'd like it a whole lot better if I could get it not to be so poofy.

Aah, phantom hair syndrome! I had that for about a week after I did Locks for Love. But going from waist to shoulder-length hair will do that to you.
