(no subject)

I wonder what it says about me that I went to give my weekly tithing to the local Suncoast and the clerk at the counter noticed I'd change my hair color. Hmm.

Today's acquisitions: Ocean's Eleven, Monsters Inc, Highlander, and Down Periscope. And what am I watching right now? Out of all four movies, I choose the Kelsey Grammer submarine comedy. Mayhaps I've had too much sugar today.

I also figured out where the hell I can find Bawls energy drinks. My brother had one when I was home last weekend, so I tried a taste, and for the first time, I found an energy drink I actually like the taste of. I still maintain that if Mountain Dew were a juice, Red Bull would be the nasty, leftover pulp of whatever melon they squeezed it out of. Blech. But Bawls wasn't half bad.

EDIT: By the way, I also wonder what it says about me, after watching Boo rifle through Mike's alphabetized DVD collection in Monsters Inc, that I have the personality of a giggly cartoon toddler.

HIGHLANDER!

Which one?

[/would remain lurking, but has unnatural obsession]

The first one, of course. I'd only buy the last three for some quality movie reviewing. ;)

Had to watch the first movie several times so I could stop staring at Sean Connery and pay attention to the actual movie. [nodnod] Have seen the last one more times than I can count (Grandfather = Could Start Own Video Shop), including the special edition DVD with new ending. (The new ending = WTF moment to end all WTF moments, and makes the entire thing make no sense)

Christopher Lambert/His Big Sword = OTP.
mayhap: Edward Elric sleeps on his desk (zzzzz ...)

ThinkGeek sells it by the case. Mmm, caffeine. ;)

*snerk* Yeah, I noticed how many CompUSA places sell the stuff around here, too. I think I'm going to see if I can pick up a case this weekend.

Those are some damn good movies and I agree about red bulls.

I don't know that I could bring myself to drink something called Bawls.

"What are you drinking?"
"Bawls."
"...."

You should have heard my brother tell me how he found them. A guy he knew handed him a bottle and said, "Want to taste my Bawls?"

It tastes really good, though. Kind of like a fruity Sprite.

Well, if you have to watch a Kelsey Grammer movie, at least you picked the one that didn't suck.

Our local CompUSA sells Bawls by the case.

Also? Much love for Down Periscope. I don't really understand why I can stomach that movie, much less want to watch it now that you've mentioned it. :D

They do sell it by the case? Oh, good. There's one on my bus route, so I'm going to stop there tomorrow and pick some up.

The only energy drink I've ever found decent enough to sip at (I have yet to have Bawls, woe!) is Amp, which is by the Mountain Dew people. Mountain Dew makes an energy drink.

Let me repeat that. Mountain Dew makes an energy drink other than Dew itself. It also glows under a black light. Seriously. It says so on the can.

I don't know what it says about me that I want to hit Kelsey Grammer upside the head and rant about how he spells his last name WRONG, damn it, but it's probably nothing good.

Me = freak. Move on.
