Today's DVD acquisitions: The Devil's Backbone, Outfoxed, Noises Off ..., Save The Last Dance, and Swing Kids. Thereby fulfilling a well-rounded collection of horror, documentary, comedy, drama, and incredibly-fucking-hot-Christian-Bale. (Yes, it's redundant, but it's also too true to argue, so bite me. Or allow me to nibble on Christian. Either one works for me.)

I wanted to get The Frighteners, but alas, it was for naught. However, they have a plushie facehugger doll for $25 I want with all of my heart (but could only pine for from afar), so things even out.

Noises Off is on DVD?! With Michael Caine and all the rest? Why did no-one tell me?! It's one of my favourite films (although pretty much un-Q&A-able from your POV I ouwld have thought!) and our house has a tendancy to suffer from occasional 'bag!' 'bag, bag!' and 'sardines' outcrys.

And now I'll stop scaring you and go away again.

Swing Kids!

Man...now for some reason I want to watch Withnail & I again. I don't know why those two are stuck together in my head.

At Suncoast. It's such a cute little thing, I practically squealed aloud in the store. :)

I *LOVE* "Noises Off". It still makes me double over in laughter...

And I must admit to a shameful love of "Swing Kids".

I swear it was because I liked the movie, not because of Christian Bale. I didn't even know he was in it till just now... Honest.

Aaahhh, you copycat! I bought Swing Kids yesterday. :p

And Noises Off is on DVD? Hmm... I love that movie -- though the stage version is much better.
