OMG I WANT A SIAMESE KITTEN SO VERY MUCH!

Ahem.

Current TroNoWriMo count: 16,780 words
Chapters finished: 2
Days left: 8

So, yeah, it's a pretty safe bet I won't finish this story by my birthday. But I love this story, I do. I lovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove this story. I love writing this plot and coming up with this world and I want to give the main character a great big trouble-free bear hug. (And a couple of the side characters, especially the big cuddly monster, 'cause she's like that.)

And just for kicks,

EDIT: ACK! Deja vu, deja vu, deja vu! *tries to whack the knowing-stuff-as-it's-happening out of my head*

Somebody tell me I'm not the only one who does that at least once every other day ... where you just stop every once in a while and realize, "I know every single detail of what's happening right now already, and I have no idea why." I seriously knew every word of the last post that came up on my friends list before it came up. (And no, it wasn't mine. Sheesh.)

*THUD*

Oh, yeah. Yum. ;)

Ohmigod those are ugly kittens! I'm a tabby fan myself.

[identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com 2004-09-21 08:39 am (UTC)(link)
Aw, don't pick on Siamese kitties! I was raised with Siamese cats all over the place, and I love the little buggers. So there. ;P

[identity profile] maryavatar.livejournal.com 2004-09-21 09:04 am (UTC)(link)
See, I was raised around tabbies, lovely scruffy little furballs. Plus I saw Lady and the Tramp at an impressionable age.

I myself like old-fashioned applehead Siamese. ^__^ *hugs her Winnie-kitty*

Me, too. The one in my icon with my brother was my dad's cat Rudy when he was a baby, and he was an applehead. He passed away earlier this year, and my parents went out and got another applehead, Otis. He's a cuddler. :)

*Stares at the picture*

*Stares a little more*

Umm...

If Domonic Monaghan suddenly turns up gay missing one day, err ... I'm not to blame.

[identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:13 am (UTC)(link)
*stares at your icon* Tell me about it. And he's not all that tall, which I like in a guy. :)

[identity profile] canthlian.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
And he's British! And German! And insane adorable! Can't go wrong with an short, adorable, British/German guy.

[identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly. I need one of my very own. *cuddles him*

aahhhhhhhh

Deja vu is evil. EVIL.

[identity profile] cleobourne.livejournal.com 2004-09-21 10:15 am (UTC)(link)
I heard/read a good theory on deja vu.

That your brain freezes before your other senses get caught up with it and then once all your other senses have reached that stage your brain goes into a 'slow mo' and you feel like you already know whats going on or get the feeling of being there already. Smells trigger it for me as well as some colors even conversation and then I go through whole minuets of deja vu.

I'm gonna get killed for this.

But I have the strangest urge to reach over and...

... tug on his ears. XD

I do that with movies. I'll see a commercial for a new movie, and I'll be all "WTF? I swear to god this movie came out 6 months ago. People think I'm crazy.

[identity profile] cleobourne.livejournal.com 2004-09-21 03:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I did that once! I was all. Whoa this is how it ends. And I was right the person I went with was all "Thanks for spoiling the ending for me.Whyd ya haveta go look that up on the net?" "Dude. I so didnt." They didnt belive me.

[identity profile] dragonsinger.livejournal.com 2004-09-21 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Such a pretty main character. Now I wanna know what the story is about.:D

[identity profile] apocalypsos.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
You know how in all those stories with people with magical powers, something always triggers control of it, like a first death or puberty or something really traumatizing? Well, he's like that, except he's twenty-seven and still doesn't have any control, and probably never will, at this point, so all of these things keep happening around him that he can't stop. (Like when he sneezes, and things explode.) He spends a LOT of time being chased by bad guys, and trying to find some way to access his abilities. It's a comedy, but then, most everything I write is. :)

[identity profile] dragonsinger.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 08:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, that sounds like fun. Definitely a book I'd read.

Siamese kitten?

[identity profile] limegreen-sloth.livejournal.com 2004-09-22 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Ovaries go boom!

[identity profile] hippiechiq.livejournal.com 2004-10-01 05:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Dude. That deja vu thing happens to me all the time... mostly, I'll be in some random, insignificant situation and I'll know exactly what's going to happen because the scene played out in a very vivid dream years before. It's never anything useful... I dunno.
