When Victoria said she hoped the race would take her and Jonathan to a better place, I couldn't decide whether that better place was divorce court or the fiery depths of Hell. Ugh. How I wished someone would have shoved him off the ski jump or cut his wire or something.
Don and MJ? Still awesome. And MJ's apology? AWWWWWWW. Please, God, don't let them get cut next week. *crosses fingers*
drewbeartx was right ... Meredith and Maria did deserve to lose. Because as much as I might have liked them -- because I did -- they were still inept and ill-prepared. Gus might not want to be there, but as the accuracy thing proved, at least he's got skills.
Meanwhile, Kris and Jon deserve to be first, not only because they're doing a good job, but because they're having a blast just going along for the ride.
Just when I thought I couldn't love them more for borrowing a poor horny Norwegian boy, the looks that Lena and Kristy gave Jonathan at the Viking camp when he was ranting were fucking priceless. Especially because if that were high school, they would have convinced one of the popular guys to hang him from the flagpole in his underwear or something. I'm sure Freddy and Bolo would have been jumping up and down to be at the head of THAT line.
Freddy and Kendra: In glasses, he's adorable. In a doo-rag, she's not. Even though they both are admittedly very pretty anyways.
Hayden and Aaron: I love them, but her constant sweeties and honeys during the roller-skating thing were driving me nuts.
You know, Adam might be cute if he were, you know, a mature adult. I'm forming a hypothesis that he's really an overmuscled toddler based on his unusually high voice, his calling for Mommy during the zip line, and his crappy ability to apologize. Not to mention the stunting of his emotional growth and the fact that he wears his hair like my brother would have as a toddler if my mother had let him use anything but child-safe scissors.
Any more touchy-feely Roadblocks and Phil's going to have to put himself in Plexiglass to avoid germs.
In summation ... is it next week yet?!
EDIT: I need a Lena & Kristy icon that says, "Can we borrow a cup of horny Norwegian boy?" Because, hee. :)

First, I love the fact that his parents (his parents!!) offered to let the girls "borrow" him. It's like "Hi! I know that you're complete strangers, but would like to have our son for a few hours? We kinda need him out of the way so we can get some 'quality time' together, if you know what I mean."
Second, I love that when one of them (I haven't figured out which is which yet) asked if he would've gone along if they were big, hairy men, he paused then admitted that he wouldn't have. As a big, hairy (gay) man myself, I just found that bit highly amusing.

Oh my GOD, where do they find some of these men??! I swear, I want to kick Jonathan in the teeth. Like, a lot. In my pointy shoes. And when Adam stepped onto the tracks, I couldn't help sekritly wishing it was an electrified track, just so he could get a little zap. Ass.
I'm really surprised how much I like Kris and Jon. They're both just gorgeous, obviously like each other and get along, they're calm and thoughtful, physically adept, and as you say, seem to be having a great time. They're basically the perfect team, so far.

I turned to
Personally, I was rooting for someone to throw him off the boat during the "team" task or for Victoria to throw the axe into his head instead of the tree trunk during the accuracy games.

AGREED!

Agreed again. I'm thinking it probably said somewhere in the application that you might need to drive a stick shift. And with that screw up last week of just blindly following people without realizing that they had completed the waterfall task... well...
I agree the Kris & Jon are running a great race so far - with a minimal amount of arguing. So are Hayden & Aaron (though I agree with you on the honey and sweetie thing).
But I think the sisters are becoming my favorites. I wasn't sure if I was going to like them based on their 'intro' - but they seem to work really well together and complement each other well. It would be nice to see an all girl team win this year!

AW man... if you make/find one... I would SO love to snag!
