apocalypsos | (no subject)

I just heard a TAR rumor that makes me happy, if only because it means more people might watch next season.

I was searching for screencaps when I found this spoiler board, and according to one of the posters there, the seventh season is already in full swing. The reason they said they know this is because they were at LAX a few days ago when they saw the new teams going to get on a plane to NY to go to Peru. (I don't know why they'd need to get on a plane to NY to go to Peru, but I'm still trying to figure out why they had to go to Minneapolis from Chicago to get to Iceland. Airport schedules confuse me.)

The real spoiler is who they said one of the teams was: Boston Rob and Amber from "Survivor".

I don't really care one way or another about either one of them, but if it would get a few more butts in front of the TV for TAR, I won't complain. :)

EDIT: It does seem a wee bit odd considering the press Phil would have to do now, but then again, I haven't seen him do more than one or two TV interviews, and those were last week. The only other one I heard him do was over the phone on the radio. *shrug* I don't know.

There were rumors about a "celebrity" TAR - so maybe that's what they're filming... (not that *I* consider Boston Rob and Amber celebrities)...

I read a few weeks ago in some magazine that they were hoping to get on. I was thrilled at the notion because:

1) I much prefer teams that show genuine affection for each other, and they've got that in bucketloads
2) OMG Boston Rob yaaaaaaaaaay!

I knew what show you were talking about. Really. So how much of a nerd am I that I see 'TAR' and my mind goes, 'Woah, someone has The Antiques Roadshow spoilers?!'

Amber = death.

She graduated from my college a couple years ahead of me. The year she was on Survivor? Westminster was completely Amberfied. Ugh. Why won't that girl go away???

Because Alison and Donny from Big Brother did so well last season.

I hate that idea. They already had their All-Star Survivor, let TAR be for (almost) regular people.

I'm kind of hoping they'll embarrass themselves a lot, but then again, I hope that of everybody who shows up on TAR at least a little bit. Though I think it would be hysterically amusing, if he Boston Rob and Amber rumor is true, if they got eliminated in the first episode. :)

Well, I guess it wouldn't be so bad. I loathed Alison from BB, at least I liked Rob on All-Stars. Meh on Amber.
