I hate to contradict, but neither the RIAA (suing) nor the New York Daily News (reporting) is actually part of the government.

I know, I know, but it still boggles the mind that they'll look so hard for a twelve-year-old downloading TV show theme songs, and yet ...

Hmm. Maybe Saddam and Osama have downloaded musid. Wouldn't it be funny if the RIAA found 'em 'cause they had 'N Sync on their laptops or something?

Yeesh. Now I have a mental image of dictators and back-up dancers, and I dislike it intensely.
