A Miracle of Rare Device, by jwynn (Supernatural, Dean and Sam) -- A very Winchester Christmas following the events of "Asylum", so you just know there's tons of angst all around. ;)

Fire and Smoke, by whipper (Supernatural, Dean and Sam) -- A short moment after Dean and Sam finally destroy the thing that killed their mom and Jess.

Out Of Their Skies (The Light Has Died), by cesario (Firefly/Serenity, River) -- Follows the events of Serenity, so major spoilers for that. River finds something that may relieve some of the quiet stress a certain crew member is feeling.

And just for fun, I have to leave for work in an hour, and A Night To Remember is starting on TCM right now. *sigh* I so need to pick up a newspaper tomorrow morning so I can look for a new job.

Y'know, you're a bad, baaad influence. I haven't read fanfic since X-files was in its heyday.

Now I'm slowly becoming a slave to Veronica Mars and Firefly fic - you're just lucky I've only seen one episode of supernatural. ;)

And dammit, there's a Logan/Veronica plotbunny that won't leave me alone! I'm pretty sure the last fafic I *wrote* was penned back in middle school, and I can't say for sure if my writing skills have improved since then.

If I unleash horrible fic on the VM fandom, it's all your fault. :-D

That being said, please keep up the ficrecs, for they are my crack.
