This is fabulous. I think that Sam is actually the more dangerous, more daring, more... wild of the two of them, mostly because he didn't have the outlet (or as much of one) that Dean had when he went away to college. Dean got to stay with John, and hunt and get all his frustrations out on whatever they were hunting, but Sam had to try and fit it and play the "normal" one.

And you've tapped into that potential perfectly. :)
