GYAH. These bastards have been piling up.

This may be the most fandoms I've ever recced in one post. HEE. :)

Normal is the Watchword, by seedyapartment (Supernatural/Veronica Mars, Sam, Logan, Veronica, and Dean) -- Sam and Logan as roommates at Hearst College, and how much would I pay to see that happen? I think they'd be good for each other in a weird sort of way, and God knows half of the fun would be Dean and Veronica meeting up.

A Fashionable Profit, by mad_gaters (Supernatural, Dean, Sam, and John) -- "Why the hell didn't you tell me they were taking your picture in nothing but a pair of Daisy Dukes?" I love me some crackfic, and this takes the cake. John and Dean decide to make a little extra money by getting Dean a job as a model. A Calvin Klein model. *snickers*

First Cut Is The Deepest, by eloise_bright (Supernatural, Dean and Sam) -- Something happens during a hunt that causes John to have to do something drastic to Dean and Sam. I don't want to get into details, because ... heh. Just go read.

Rust and Burnt Umber, by lyra_wing (Supernatural, Dean and Sam) -- An unexpected visitor appears in Dean's dreams. Awesome, powerful and more than a little sad.

One True Pairing, by keepaofthecheez (Supernatural, Dean and Sam) -- Like she says in her summary, it's best to just go into this blind. Aww, my poor babies.

Dark Side of the Moon, by koyote19 (Supernatural, Bobby and Dean) -- Following the events of "Devil's Trap", Bobby and Dean have a heart-to-heart. I love this.

Pack Up Your Bags, It's Never Too Late!, by annakovsky and kyrafic (The Office, Jim/Pam) -- Jim's almost gotten used to narrating his life into a camera lens for the consumption of strangers. Like having a blog, but more embarrassing. Oh, man, I love this, but anything Jim/Pam is so much love I can barely see straight after reading it. :)

First Time Over Your Head, by annalazarus (CW RPS, Jared/Jensen/Sandy) -- How about I just put it this way? If annalazarus writes Jared/Jensen/Sandy, you should read it at all times. And if they're not fucking in real life, then by God they should be, if only because it's completely unfair this stuff is fictional.

On a Clear Day, by estrella30 (CW RPS, Jared/Jensen) -- On the other hand, there's the stories where Sandy and Jared break up and Jensen's there to ... ahem, comfort him, which are always awesome, too. Also, as I was rereading this just now, "Sin Wagon" came on my Zen, which really needs to be on a J-squared soundtrack. Heh.

A Map and Then You Lose Your Way, by ignipes (Supernatural, Sam/Dean) -- Sam doesn't have a scar fetish. He just likes to know his way around. I love that mental image, of Sam relearning all the marks he missed out of when he was at Stanford.

Reload, by dotfic (Supernatural, Sam and Dean) -- < I>There's a storm rising. Sam can't find his favorite sweatshirt. Dean hopes for just one moment without any monsters. I can't remember if I recced the first two stories, Recoil and Ricochet, but OMGYES.

On What Wings, by groaty (Supernatural, Sam/Dean) -- I don't know when the hell wing!fic got to be a major kink with me, but the thought of either Sam or Dean with wings is just such a gorgeous mental image that I can't help myself.

Night Out, by minkmix (Supernatural, Sam and Dean) -- Sam observes Dean during a night out at the bar. A great profile of that great-looking guy who hit on you at the bar from the other side.

Just Like High School, by devildoll (Stargate Atlantis, John and Rodney) -- Kavanagh starts an anonymous hate meme in his blog. No, really. *snickers*

Untitled (A Stanford Fic), by movablehistory (Supernatural, Sam and Dean) -- So, it's all over and Sam's looking back at what he wanted to be. Dean's looking forward trying to make up his mind. This may be my favorite post-battle fic in this fandom. Seriously. Because they go back to Stanford, but they're still hunting, and Sam's all enthusiastic about his classes, and probably my favorite part is that Dean is neither an idiot nor treated like one by Sam. It makes me both giddy that it's awesome and jealous I didn't write it.

to the waters and the wild, by estrella30 (Smallville, Clark and Lex) -- For the Johnny Cash ficathon with the prompt "Five Feet High And Rising", it's Clark being all angsty and trying his damndest to save who he can. I may not have watched Smallville regularly ... erm, ever, but I love this.

When Steel and Water Collide, by soundingsea (Veronica Mars, Mac/Veronica) -- On the road with Veronica, Mac looks for answers and finds questions. More Johnny Cash goodness, in which the story goes AU from "Not Pictured" with Mac and Veronica on the run.

Five Things, by monkeycrackmary (DC Comics/Superman Returns, Jason White, Tim Drake) -- At a young age, Tim Drake gets hugged. Five drabbles. I can't help it, but after seeing Superman Returns, I not only want fic, I want fic about Jason. Hell, the entire Lane-White family. But mostly Lois and Jason. And having Tim Drake in the mix? Heh. Love it.

The Practical Application of Baked Goods, by musesfool (Grey's Anatomy, George and Izzie) -- Izzie is grieving, but she isn't healing, and George can't stand that. Aw, George, you big sweetie.

From Our Dissension, by marag (X-Men Movieverse, Warren and Rogue) -- Often both sides of an argument seem clear-cut to the participants. Okay, you know that thing I said about the wing!fic? Well, Warren's always been a little bit of my puppy because of that. So I love the way he sees his wings in this fic. Just ... YES. (Now I'm horribly tempted to write "why Warren should love the hell out of those wings" fic, and it's all marag's fault. ;P)

I'm glad you liked it! I'm not a huge Warren fan, but the way he was practically a deus ex machina in the movie was silly. I wanted to know what happened to him!

And tell me about it. I love Warren, so the fact that they didn't even do anything with him annoyed me a LOT. I knew I wasn't going to get it, but I was dying for just one shot of all of the five original X-Men in the same frame. Scott and Jean didn't even have to be in the same room if they couldn't have them in the shot, they could have just had them in a photo with Bobby, Hank, and Warren next to one another and I would have been thrilled.

*grumbles* If Singer had been directing I would have gotten it, damn it.
