apocalypsosLast week, I bought a basketball with the intention of getting some outdoor exercise. I haven't played regularly for a while, so this is what I've learned in the past week --
1. I have no endurance. I'm barely lasting a half-hour and all I'm doing is trying to fix my shooting.
2. My ball-handling could use some work. (Shut it, you pervs.)
3. You know why I can't shoot? Because I use my left hand too much and give the ball way too much spin, and then it goes bouncing off the rim. So I've spent the past two days shooting one-handed with my left hand behind my back to try to train myself to shoot only with my right hand, which is working better than I thought. (Although I look like a dumbass, but whatever works.)
Also, I just said I'd go to see my cousin's band play tonight. Wish Joe Bag O'Lugnuts, The Five-Hundred Dollar Car That Could good luck, because this ride's gonna be awfully far for it.
Oh, and ... AWESOME.
