They're showing the episode with the challenge where they feed the chefs who didn't make it onto the show. Every time I see this episode, I'm reminded just how much I hate all of these people. Like that guy all in black? (You are NOT Johnny Cash, knock that shit OFF.) Or that guy who's like, "I don't use butter or fat"? (Oh, boy, I bet you would have lasted all the way to the second episode!) Yeeeeaaaaah.

I got creativemonkeys, but I have no idea what to do with the journal. We'll see. I just really wanted the username. :)

There's a few spoilers for tonight on the TWoP forums (but not who won, damn it). ( I may end up getting someone to text me the winner. Just as long as it's not Hosea, ugh. )

Day 31 of my getyourwordsout pledge:

17,353 / 300,000 (5.8%)

If I do compete in NaNoWriMo this year -- which I want to, but I wanted to keep up to the non-NaNo word count for each month just to make sure -- I should be at 22,700 words by the end of the day. Considering my writer's block, I don't expect myself to make the non-NaNo word count of 25k without a miracle. Quite frankly, at this point I'll just be happy to crack 20k, which really isn't that far behind.

Okay, back to work.

... I'm watching the Top Chef episodes from this season on Bravo and I'm reminded of three things:

1. That Leah needs to stop being so goddamn smug and snotty. And stop leaning towards being weird and posessive and creepy about Hosea.
2. That Jamie needs to shut the hell up about not winning anything and how everybody thinks she should win and lo, why am I not getting a cookbook from a guest chef, you guys?!
3. That Carla makes everything awesome. Hoodie-hoo! HEE.
