This week is just ... just weird. Quietly, subtly weird. I can't even explain it. *pokes the weekend to make it get here faster*

Anyway, a meme:

EDIT: Stephen Colbert interviews the congressman who wants to put the Ten Commandments in front of judicial buildings. For the record, I haven't considered myself a Catholic or gone to a church when there wasn't a wedding involved since I was confirmed, and I can name all ten commandments. That's just sad.

I've never watched SPN, but with a lot of my friends (especially brynwulf) into it, I've got the DVD on my Netflix queue for when it's released. So, do I watch all the episodes at once, pausing only for booze, food, and potty breaks, or should I break them up to avoid having my head explode from the hotness?

I say watch them all in one shot. Make sure you have booze handy during "Wendigo", "Bugs", and "Route 666" because they're the bottom of the barrel in quality and you'll need it. Make sure you have booze handy during "Skin", "Route 666", "Hell House", and "Provenance" because there will be topless Winchesters and hot kissing and sex and you'll need it. Make sure you have booze handy for "Home", "Shadows", "Something Wicked", and the last few episodes of the season, because there will be big-time family love and wibbling and you'll need it.

In summation: Booze. Stock up.

Hmm ... without giving the whole storyline an immense kick in the ass, I'd probably say How To Save a Life, because I would love more than anything to see a flashback to Sam's Stanford years showing that he wasn't quite as normal as he'd hoped and that wasn't a bad thing.

a.) The brotherly relationship. They just nail that whole big-brother/little-brother dynamic.

b.) Well, the pretty got me first. I'm weak like that. :)

c.) The monsters of the week. They make the family stuff look so good that the creatures pale in comparison.

d.) The female characters. If they're any good, they go away fast, and if they're crap, they stay around far longer than they should. (Meg, anyone?) Seriously, if I could go in there and bring in a strong female character to interact with the guys on a regular basis (with a good actress for once), that'd be great.
