apocalypsos: (freakin' adorable)

So I missed out on America's Got Talent on Wednesday but I just caught the repeat on Bravo.

This week's amazing-little-girl-singer -- Taylor Ware, an 11-year-old yodeler. She learned how to do that from a tape and an instruction book. HOLY CRAP. (The audio and video on that particular copy of the clip don't quite sync up, but the point still comes off well enough. :))

If nothing else, this week's episode proved Chicago (and any city within driving distance of Chicago) is full of crazy people.

The Calcium Kid is on Comedy Central. *snickers*

Dude, that girl ROCKED. She and the outfit-changing musicians were by far my faves last night.

And by musicians, I mean magicians.

Can you tell it's Friday and my brain's not here? :P

Oh, yeah, they were both awesome (and she's so adorable). I also liked those preppie jugglers, who were pretty funny, and that fucked-up comic with the flaming bowling ball. If what he's going to do next time got him banned in three countries, I can't WAIT to see it. :)

That all more than made up for stuff like that nut with the blow-up doll and the birdcaller.

What pisses me off about the bad acts is that they push off more people who get through - like last night, I saw one of the "we didn't get a chance to show you" people who got through was this violinist. I would've LOVED to see her over the tripe they did air.

I'm just glad that after this week, all of the stuff the judges weeded out will be gone and we can start seeing stuff that's not entire crap. Not that a few bad acts haven't made it through, but at least now we can start seeing the ones we've missed.

That guy who said he'd only been singing for nine months needed to be smacked. The lack of self-awareness on some of these contestants is ludicrous.

And yeah, I'm dying to see that violinist, too. And the Irish dance team they showed a couple of weeks ago that didn't make the episode.

Flippy boggles the mind. And I believe there's video on YouTube of him getting wasted and watching himself get voted off, which makes me giggle more than his performance did.

Ooh, I will watch the shit out of that. QB and I thought he was sort of genius in his badness.
