Speaking as someone who lives fifteen minutes from there, if Ryan had to go all the way to Carbondale from Scranton to find pudding cups, he must have just wanted to kill time by skipping both malls, the Wal-Mart, the Target, the three grocery stores, and the fifteen or so gas stations in between.

... oh, shut up, I'm a dork.

And yes, I'm still catching up on Office episodes, God help me.

There's a Carbondale, Pennsylvania now? Because I was about to say, Illinois is a really long way to go for a pudding run.

Yeah, it's a couple of towns over from where I live. It's kind of notorious around here for being a pit.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that. :)

But think about that episode of Buffy where Cordelia had bought Krispy Kreme donuts for Xander while he was stalking Buffy concerned and stayed at the hospital after she got sick with the flu? At the time, Cordy would have had to drive at least an hour away from Sunnydale to get those donuts, which meant that she really loved him to go to all that trouble.

Unless it was for sex, I clearly understand skipping Wal-Marts for food supplies.

Sunnydale had an actual 'location'?

Am confused. With a castle and ancient empty mansions and fake fast food joints, I see no problem with a real donut shop being close.

Well, according to all the data, Sunnydale's more than an hour outside of L.A., but obviously near the beach (because there was on in the show). The only Krispy Kreme in that area was somewhere deep in L.A., and the traffic in L.A. bites. So Cordy would have had to have driven an hour to get to L.A., suffer another hour or so of traffic getting there and back, and then an hour back to Sunnydale.

Three hours for one dozen donuts for your boyfriend? That's love.

Maybe she used magic (and in exchange, lost some rationallity. Xander had the crap beat out of him and he and Willow thought they were gonna croak, cut them some slack)

If you were Ryan, wouldn't you want to spend as much time out of the office as possible (while still on the clock)? I'm just sayin'.

Heh. This is true.

Although I wouldn't want to spend that extra time in Carbondale. Blech.

Wrong episode, Lots. The one I was referencing was the one with the German kinder monster.

The one you're referencing is "Lover's Walk" and the one after is when she possibly delved into magic by burning all of her memories of Xander.
