Every once in a while when I'm working on the Books of Boggs I realize I started out just writing a funny story about a guy with uncontrollable magic powers who lives in Scranton and ended up writing a really long metaphor for being a young person stalled in every aspect of your life and waiting for something to come along and change all that.
