Okay, I am clearly living in a hole! I love that not only do you know this show exists and are watching it, while me sat in my southern england bedroom is scratching my head going Britain's got what now?
Y'know, even as my mind analyzed the missteps she took and blared klaxons as she shifted up half a pitch on the second verse, I melted a bit. 'cuz while she's talented--that vibrato was incredible--I think her voice is so honest that it kinda just talks to you.
It was cute, yes, and she is very good for her age, but unless the Queen Mum is on speed, she's definitely not going to want to sit around an interminable age between notes! I don't know about you, but if I am going to have to listen to precocious, warbling tots, they'd better be warbling on tempo.
Now, that was *nice*. Some little kid singers are 'trained' to have all this fakey 'adult' sound and do tricks with their voice and she was just *singing* and it was just good. Neat!
i think what made it most touching is that the guy is so quiet, all introverted and unassuming, a guy people probably label as a loser yet he has this HUGE TALENT that he decided might just be "good enough" for the show and HOMG. i want to hug him.
Yeah, that was the amazing part. I'm think, "Hare lip? Wow, Simon's gonna slaughter him." (I hate Simon. Hatehatehate.) And he just wiped that smarmy grin right off Simon's face. And he didn't gloat.
Man, you don't need to gloat when you got talent like that. Dayum.
While she wasn't pitch perfect, it's light years beyond almost any six year old in existence and she just had such a good quality to her voice. She was adorable. Oh those missing teeth!
Oh my god I HATE you for making me WEEP my own tears! Thank God I am home alone right now, or else I'd have a hard time explaining my OVARIES to my parents.
