apocalypsosAnd even though I couldn't afford to miss even a little bit of work this week thanks to rent being due, I left eight hours early last night because I couldn't stop throwing up. *sigh*
I mean, I had to, obviously -- and boy, is it fun to have your own boss tell you, "Go to a doctor already, woman" -- but now I have no choice about going to the temp agency tomorrow. It kind of sucks, because I really didn't want to work later this week, but on the other hand God knows I need my ass spurred into action here.
And now I'm going to run down to the minimart to pick up a Sunday paper and see if there's any part-time jobs in there. Probably not, because this area's a joke, but it's worth a shot.
Um, something good to mention, so that I feel less like crap ... well, for someone who threw up over and over again for an hour straight last night, I have really scary clear skin this morning. Oh, oh! And last night I got tons of compliments on my new haircut, which was nice. :)
