Look at me, all getting shit done.

So! As it stands:
-- My uncle with the DVD recorder is currently in possession of my second-season Project Runway box set, so I should be able to drop copies in the mail for
quietdiscerning and
poisontaster on Tuesday. (Although I apparently bought the wrong kind of blanks. What? I never copy DVDs.)
-- I have gotten my laptop back, packed it up, and arranged for FedEx to pick it up on Tuesday. Fixing Dean, Jr.: Take Two. *sigh*
-- The apartment is practically spotless. A little laundry, a handful of dishes, but nothing I'd be embarrassed for my mother to suddenly walk in on, which is kind of great.
-- Next payday I start in on the Grand Redecorating Scheme by picking up those pretty Serenity posters. And also, if I can afford it, get a couple of those orange and purple Halloween light strings. It's going to be very autumny in there -- I'm going to get pumpkin and maple scented candles for in there, and it's going to be a lot of oranges and reds and browns because such is my favorite decorating scheme. I realized last night that I'm going for a Neverending Story kind of feeling in there, like I can go in there to escape everybody else and spend the entire day with a book and some cookies and hot chocolate and a blankie and never come out. Which ... seriously, we were making that movie at work last week and now I don't know why I haven't watched it in ages.
-- This week I see about getting myself some goddamn glasses already. And get a new phone to see if that's why my land line's not working. And get my car inspected.
-- Sweet Charity is reopening again, which just depresses me because I haven't yet finished my Pulse recap for Rachel or my assignment for Clex. Oh, my God, I hate writer's block SO FREAKIN' HARD.
