The only two SPN-premiere posts I've seen on my friends list today have been squee, which pleases me even though I'm not in the fandom. But I do watch the show.
And congrats on getting in! Definitely there's something to be said for going to college a second time -- a big difference in your maturity level and outlook after you've had a few years as a self-supporting adult and are going as a deliberate change of direction (rather than going fresh out of high school simply because that's the path your parents expect you to take, as I did), and the second time around you may have more realistic expectations regarding how much work to put in to get the results you want.
