For anybody worried about their NaNo word count right now ...

... it's day three and I've written nothing but story notes.

Okay, that sounds worse than it is. I mean, starting on Tuesday I have four straight days all to myself. No work, no plans, no fucking overtime, and apparently it's supposed to snow on Friday (ARGH) so I can just curl up in bed with my laptop and type until my fingers fall off. The concept's turning out pretty good, though -- I just keep throwing ideas at it to see what sticks, and quite a lot is sticking, which is awesome.

But, yes. As long as you have written anything at all in your story files, you are all kicking my ass. You know, if that makes you feel any better. :)

EDIT: Oh, oh! And perhaps later I shall do that ten-things-I-want-for-Christmas list meme thing, since God knows nobody else bothers to ask me anymore and ... well, I'm spoiled. *shrugs*

Hi! I wanted to thank you for getting me into NaNoWriMo. I remembered you posting about it a lot last year, and by the time I got around to check what it was, it was a bit too late. This year I forgot about it until I saw your NaNo icon, remembered that I was bummed out by not participating and said "oh, what the hell." And by now, "Digital Watches" is 38K.
