Okay ...

... I really need to walk away from the computer right the fuck now, because I've been staring at the computer trying to write my NaNo all damn day and I haven't been able to write barely anything. Not my NaNo, not Luke/Noah PWP, not even a fucking drabble, and I'm about five seconds away from bursting into tears over the whole thing.

*wanders off to take a hot bath and maybe do some vodka shots or something*

Have you tried writing something completely random, like a paragraph describing a tree or something? Or a pointless conversation between two guys named Bob about a squirrel that's been doing strange things out the window. Just something which is in no way an actual story, the more pointless the better.

Just start typing. Write anything. Stream of consciousness crap. Just anything to get the words flowing.

Focus on getting ten words out. then another ten. Pretty soon, the words will come.

If it makes you feel better.. I came home from work.. brewed some tea.. sat down.. got as far as opening Word.. got up to take the teapot off the heat...Had a major realization that every single date I've been on over the past month where I wasn't some sort of agressive jerk had lead to the girl NOT calling me back.. (the realization was one of those sudden bricks to the head) Had a shot of vodka. Wrote two words.. had another shot of vodka...
annnnd woke to my alarm clock going off and a empty bottle in the garbage can. *thumbs up*

So I just found that your entry was really funny. That was my night last night. I wrote TWO words.. left the computer on and finished half a bottle of vodka. Watch out Hemmingway!

oh and the tea... never had a drop of it.
