*flails incoherently*
WHEE. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
That was like taking a deep cleansing breath of hardcore-crack-laced air. Seriously, I'm totally out of it right now. *twirls*
I mean, TIM! TIMTIMTIM! Which, okay, we got that in Guide to Style but dude, I need him in Parsons telling catty gay fashion designers to make it work. It feeds my soul, y'all.
In general, I really like the designers so far. Nobody's really pissing me off, not even Christian who desperately needs a smack upside the head.
Stephen -- He had me at, "Damn, I wish I could remember this guy's phone number." HA. I wish you had it too, sweetie. Also, I totally remember him from the Road to the Runway from last season. (At least, I think it was last season.) I really like his style, too.
Jack -- Okay, seeing the preview has made me totally freakin' afraid for a Keith Michael Redux or something. Don't cheat, darlin'! You're really fucking hot! (Well, okay, there's actually a fairly deep well of hot guys this season, even if nearly all of them would not be the least bit interested in me thanks to my lack of a penis, but STILL. I can sooooo see slash in my future for this season. I mean, look at them. Seriously, if Rami and Jack have any chemistry together whatsoever I'm shoving them into the nearest bedroom together before they can blink.) But, yes. Jack is lovely, and his ass is gorgeous which says a lot coming from someone who's not an ass person, and also his dress was very cute and I would totally wear it.
Rami -- I can't decide what's yummier, Rami or his dress. GUH.
Elisa -- Oh, my God, what crack is she ON?! And you know, on one hand I really wish she had been the one who'd been eliminated because that train was an idiotic idea and her model could not walk in it at ALL, and yet at the same time watching her be a lunatic flower goddess was probably the funniest thing I've seen in days.
Simone -- I kind of saw the writing on the wall when she was all, "I'm at Bryant Park and I'll be here again." Yeah, as a guest, poor thing. I did like the dress at first, and agree with Heidi about the color combinations, but I'm getting the impression in retrospect that the construction was worse than we could see on TV.
Chris -- Oh, he's so going to be the Jay, isn't he? And I'm not saying that's a bad thing, because he seems to have the same sort of humor and I felt a little bad for him about the running start until he was all, "I got what I wanted anyway," and ended up making a dress I thought was lovely.
Sweet P -- Sweet P! Who is awesome and whose portfolio looks crazy-cute and who has tattoos and was in a biker girl group! Who takes off her heels as soon as she knows she has to run and seems genuinely nice! And whose dress was one of the ones I might actually have been able to pull off! So, yes, I'm totally keeping her.
Kit -- No, I am not calling you "Pistol", sweetheart. You're not Sweet P, bikers did not give you that name, I don't particularly feeling like calling you it. However, your clothes look very cute and I would wear them so you're on my good side.
Victorya -- I feel like the "in pain for fashion" bit was totall bullshit for not making the elastic bits on her dress long enough to let her model lift her arms, and yet I find her adorable and probably would suffer a little bit for that dress.
Christian -- He is such a little snot but he's amusing the hell out of me (for now, at least) so we'll keep him. Even though I hate his dress like burning and don't know what the judges were on, and am also pretty sure that he will turn into an annoying dicksmack before long.
Ricky -- He seems very sweet and I think his dress was cute but I also think he needs to put way more effort into his designs. I mean, if I look at it and think, "I could make that," that's probably not good.
Carmen -- I like that she used to be a model and you can tell from the way she dresses, and yet I don't like her style and the way she dresses is SO hard for me to stare directly at without sunglasses on.
Marion -- Is it weird that I have a feeling from this episode that he's going to go a long way in the competition? I think we learned, like, his name and that he likes his hat. And his dress was cute, so. *shrugs* I mean, that was about the sum total of what we learned about Michael Knight and Daniel V. in the first few episodes.
Kevin -- Cute, seems like an okay guy, and his portfolio looked bitchin'. Yeah, this is another one where I just don't get the impression he's going to get eliminated anytime soon just from the editing.
Jillian -- I adored the color of her dress (although I'm a little iffy on some points of the construction) and have liked nearly every design of hers I've seen. And I know she tried out for another season (last year, I think) just like Stephen.
There, I think I got everybody. :)

Date: 2007-11-15 04:40 am (UTC)I have no idea why they were talking about the "great silhouette" on Christian's dress. Looking like a saggy block of wood is a good idea?

Date: 2007-11-15 04:43 am (UTC)The sad thing is I would have totally worn Simone's dress before I ever would have put on Christian's. It was bland in SUCH a busy way.

Date: 2007-11-15 04:53 am (UTC)I don't think I would've ever worn Simone's since it was so, so poorly constructed.

Date: 2007-11-15 04:55 am (UTC)Christian is such a little bitch, I love it. But yeah, that dress? Was...a terrible thing. In every way.
I really hope Elisa sticks around for the sheer entertainment value. What was it she said about wanting the dress to flow like water or magic? Whatever, it was hilarious.

Date: 2007-11-15 04:59 am (UTC)I just want to tie Christian down and cut his hair and then burn the dress with you because dear Lord was that ugly. But then I have bad Top Chef flashbacks and restrain myself. :D

Date: 2007-11-15 05:09 am (UTC)Yeah, but a little tweaking to fix the construction errors and I'd be all over the dress, if not the jacket. Christian's, on the other hand ... *sigh*

Date: 2007-11-15 05:15 am (UTC)I know, right? She's absolutely CRAZY, but in that safe train-wreck sort of way where the train is empty of people but filled with, like, flowers and crystals and puppies and vats of maple syrup.

Date: 2007-11-15 05:19 am (UTC)Heeeh. I think I dislike the dress because it's so very impractical for wearing a bra under- and the style is pretty prohibitive if you're larger than a B cup.

Date: 2007-11-15 05:23 am (UTC)Heh. I'm an A cup -- that thing would do me just fine. :)

Date: 2007-11-15 06:53 pm (UTC)He's just so snarky and funny and obviously one of the most talented people this season. I adore him to pieces already, and not in the way I adore Elisa (as if I'm watching a car wreck between two clown cars).
