Also, I haven't been watching the storyline for a while (I got tired of watching them dance around each other and never being able to show their feelings), so I don't really know Ameera or her deal, but I do know that she doesn't have the power to turn a gay man straight no matter how much make-up she puts on ;)

There's spoilers running around that Noah's dad is coming back, hence the speculation that they might go back to Ameera being Noah's half-sister through Colonel Crazypants instead of just some girl he knew in Iraq. I would LOVE that at this point. Gets Noah out of this dumb marriage AND makes Ameera interesting all in one fell swoop.

I haaaaaaate the Ameera storyline. I haven't hated a storyline this much since Shonda Rhimes thought Izzie and George would look cute together. It makes Noah look like a doormat, Luke look like a fool, and Ameera look like a moron.

From what I heard the show's regular writers only started working on the show again a couple of weeks ago. If that's true and this is a result of them coming back, I'm not surprised. The boys stopped kissing right about the time the strike started, IIRC.
