-- The great thing about having the last two days of my shift off is that I saved money on the gas so I can go buy groceries if I want. The downside is that unless I get a new job, that's the end of my holidays for the rest of the year. (I'm still good to go to Wincon, though. I just may skip work Sunday night or leave a bit early.)

-- I dug out my Alpha Smart to see if it still worked. Amusingly enough it did, although the keys are a bit harder to type with than the laptop. On the other hand, it's got no internet access so I won't be tempted to check my email or anything when I use it.

-- Go watch videos of last night's best acts on America's Got Talent. There were some really great acts last night. I highly recommend the cloggers, the Frank Sinatra impersonator, and the little boy.

-- The change in my eating habits is going pretty well. I'm not really all that hungry this way with the smaller portions and evenly spreading out the meals. Plus, I've kind of gotten into the habit of eating only the suggested serving sizes, which is probably about as much as I end up eating even if I take larger portions anyway. Also, I still have two full bottles of soda in my fridge after a week which ... heh.

-- New Shear Genius tonight! Woohoo!

-- Oh, and there's new Christian and Olli, although most of the focus is on Judith and Fabian. Mostly on Fabian. Ugh.
