Here is my declaration.

I will finish my novel by September 1st. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If there is not a finished (if completely rough and totally unedited) copy of my novel in the agent-shaped person's email on September 1st, the closest person on my friends list has my permission to come to my house and smack me inna head.

In related news, is there anybody who'd be willing to pick me up one of these, toss it into an envelope, and send it to me? I can't find them around here, they're only a couple of bucks everywhere I look, and yet every website I check wants to charge me at least eight bucks to ship me one lousy report cover that can't possibly cost that much to send. ARGH.

Yay! I think you'll do it. That's exciting! Also, I love your pictures of your writing process, like your wall of notes or...outline. It's interesting and so different from the way I write! I always find that process stuff of other writers really fascinating.
