Things that were done today:

1. Went with my mom down to get the Mini Cooper serviced in Philly.
2. Walked around the King of Prussia mall for a couple of hours.
3. Have never felt as broke as I did walking around the King of Prussia mall for a couple of hours.
4. Fell asleep in the car on the way back home.
5. Stopped to see the new tiger cubs at the Nay Aug Park.
6. Did not get to see the new tiger cubs, as Scranton apparently thinks it's a good idea to close their wildlife center early during the summer. Because they're morons.
7. Went and got ice cream.
8. Went to Borders. Picked up new book. Did not kill Breaking Dawn display with fire.
9. Watched my mom get a Siamese cat tattoo on her ankle. Will get pictures later.

I walked past some Twilight displays in the mall the other day and started laaaaaughing.

The best part is, I'd already spoken with my mom about the books, so when she looked to see what was so funny, she cracked up with me.

Oh, did you see the new interview? Where someone asked her about some sort of Werewolf Paternity Issue (I'm not sure what the storyline entails other than Werewolf Paternity Issue) and she claimed she didn't know who the father was because the characters didn't tell her?

... NO. YOU HAVE FAILED AS A WRITER. YOU MUST TRY AGAIN.

I've actually had that happen before.

I am not, however, a professional writer. I'm an RPer. On a sandbox MUSH that noone but myself and my RP friends use.

So, yeah. Big time FAIL there.

IF YOU HAVEN'T PUT ANY THOUGHT INTO IT BEYOND "HEY THAT WOULD BE COOL", DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR PUBLISHED, POPULAR SERIES OF NOVELS. GOD.

Something tells me she doesn't understand why people have favorite characters who aren't Edward or Bella.

I did that at the bookstore today, too. Good times.

Oh, and the King of Prussia mall is filled with Satanic evil.

Well, it has the same evil per square foot as any normal mall, but it's much bigger. Hence the terrible eviltude.

I wonder how many men she dated before she got together with her husband.

Ah yes, but...

Did your envelopes arrive okay? I ask only because of my extreme lameness in taking so long to get them shipped off.

OMG, I know. I perfectly understand having character revelations of some kind when you're halfway through with a book, but there is no way I'd ever pull some "I don't know an answer to something I referenced in the published novel because they haven't told me!" Unless I was being intensely sarcastic. I know a ton of things about my characters that might not ever find their way into books. Feh.

Oh, man, it's not even that, because I mean, I'm like that too. I write down so many details for all of my characters that don't even make it into the books. But those are things that are like, "Loves Fritos," or, "Is really good at darts," not the solution to an unresolved plotline. You can't just not answer something like that and then go, "The characters never told me!"

BULL. SHIT.

I maybe kinda want to fling poo at her right now. Ugh.

every time i go into borders and see their pretty little displays of the twilight books (i don't know if they're the same everywhere, but at mine they have 4 circular towers of the books) i wanna knock them all over.

'sorry, i wanted that one on the bottom.' ...to burn as a sacrifice :)

The new book I picked up yesterday was a YA novel and when I went back to look for one they had an entire bookshelf from top to bottom full of Twilight and Eclipse and >Breaking Dawn. I had to resist the urge to rear back and yell, "GYAH," when I saw that.

Oh, man, I almost forgot to say thank you! I got them the day before but I kinda got swept up in making fun of Breaking Dawn and going to Philly prep. :)

*hugs*

S'okay. I will admit to losing *days* to the Breaking Dawn fun. I'm just glad you finally got them.

(did the shirt fit? do you like it? okay, lame shilling for compliments...ignore.)
