My mom took Wilson to the vet this morning, and she put the carrier on the counter at the vet's while she filled out paperwork. Well, it must have been sticking out over the edge of the counter because the cat moved to the back of the carrier and the damn thing fell over onto the floor.

The woman behind the counter promptly blurted out, "Oh, my God, is your cat in there?!"

My mother said she was sorely tempted to say, "No, thankfully I brought him in my coat pocket today."
