You know what. You're going to hate me in about three seconds flat. I'm neither a fan nor a detracter, but what I don't understand about this entire fiasco is why no one has suggested the obvious.
This man is not a man, he does not possess an adult mind, he is genuinely unaware he has done anything wrong. His behavior strikes me as less audacious and more childlike than anything else. He wasn't dancing on that car out of sheer hutzpah; he was dancing because it seemed to make them happy and that's the limit of his intellect. He really is that irresponsible.
If I were a manager of such a lucrative but scarily unwitting rock star, you bet I'd do everything in my power to keep it under wraps, else why haven't we seen a single person say, out loud, "can we have a psychiatrists POV on this one, please". There have been plenty of interviews... and yet.... No one asks.
It's like half the people think he can do no wrong and the other half just want to thrash them because a hot topic is involved. Like their brains are just shutting down because he's "famous" and "invincible" and no one wants to even allow the possibility that he may be genuinely mentally handicapped.
He is now in a lose lose scenario, and yeah, I feel sorry for him. It's possible he molested those kids out of sheer arrogance. It's possible he's just being attacked with a hot button accusation. But it's the behavior of everyone around him that shames me.
