Considering the BAFTA nominations came out, which means only one more week until the Oscar noms, I figured I'd toss in my two cents on the big names.


Film:

My take: Remove Cold Mountain and Big Fish, replace with Finding Nemo and Mystic River, and I'll be happy.

Actor:

My take: YES! Johnny's now got a Golden Globes nom and a BAFTA nom. That bodes well for next Tuesday and the Oscar noms.

Also, I've said it before, and I'll say it again -- Jack Black and the kids from School of Rock had better get a best song nom next week. I want to see those kids rocking the Kodak like a great rocking thing.



EDIT: At this point, I can pretty much figure out exactly how next Tuesday is going to go.
