A lot of the reason I wanted it to win -- aside from it being an wonderful documentary -- was because I was hoping for just that sort of a moment with Philippe. YAY! :)

I know it was a foregone conclusion ...

I didn't realize that I was invested at all until they announced it. I don't think there is a better actor around these days than Phillip Seymour Hoffman but Heath Ledger winning just made me so sad and so very happy at the same time.
