Feb. 26th, 2006 12:44 pmYesterday I dyed my hair, which meant it was that nice annoyingly vibrant dark red that it always gets that first day or so. But here's the thing. I wash my hair every other day instead of every day because it gets way too dry and brittle otherwise. Since washing it means having that bothersome wave in it, I curl it then straighten the curls, so in the end I get this whole flip thing going and most of the time it looks too cute to pull away from my face, which is what I usually end up doing on the days between washings.
Anyway, last night when I went to work, I was walking in with one friend and Cute Guy With Girlfriend and Baby, aaaaand ...
Friend: Did you do something different with your hair? Or am I thinking that just because it's not pulled back?
Cute Guy With Girlfriend And Baby: Nah, she never pulls her hair back on the second day of the shift.
Oh, no, you don't. I've never had anyone not dating or crushing on me notice my hairstyles. STOP TAUNTING ME WITH YOUR ATTACHITUDE, YOU ATTACHED ASSHAT.
In other news, I'm horribly tempted to do my monthly fic-writing roundup early as if it were going to open up my free time in the next couple of days if I just pretend the month ends today rather than Tuesday. Instead, I may write another Supernatural fic today, I'll probably work on getting that post-reunion-show Project Runway fic tomorrow, and I'm going to get that 'Ask Questions Later' fic written if it kills me, which should be interesting considering the deadline is Tuesday night. Honest to God, I've had no inspiration at ALL until last night, when I had a teensy-tiny style idea. Hopefully if I play around with it that way, I'll come up with something. And then I may write a different version of the Remix story I already wrote a Remix story for, because I'm not sure I want to go with that angle. Not that it's bad, I'm just not sure I want to do it THAT way.
God, I hope I get a big chunk of my plotbunnies killed off soon, because I desperately want to go back to working on the Books of Boggs. At the very least, writing five kajillion Supernatural fics in one sitting's helping me get back into the frame of mind to write as a guy. And hey, I've gotten over my aversion to typing the word "cock," so I've got that going for me. ;)
In a related story, I'm seriously lucky I have no money because I would go out and buy early Gilmore Girls seasons (Oh, tiny!Jared! When he was only this big! *holds hand about a foot above my head*) and the seasons of Dark Angel with Jensen in it because I am just that sad.
My cable guide says FX is showing The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and I turned it on to find Daredevil. I can't decide whether to be disappointed or thrilled. I'm so conflicted. WOE.
Okay, now to be with the answering of the email, because I've let it pile up THIS MUCH.
EDIT: You know what makes me happy after what happened at the end of last week's Grey's Anatomy? That my cable guide sums up tonight's episode with ( slightly spoilery )
OTHER EDIT: I'm watching PR reruns again. Sequins, Zulema. The term for more than one sequin has an S at the end of it. Jesus, that irritates the hell out of me.
