I went to see
V For Vendetta today. Now that was freaking awesome. I haven't gone to the movies in a while, so I felt horribly deprived when I went in there. And apparently the movie theater got House of the Dead 4 since the last time I was there. You have to keep shaking the gun to reload and knock away zombies, for crying out loud. By the time I finished playing, I only wished I couldn't feel my arms.
I also picked up a purse that looks like a stick of Fruit Stripe gum. Heh.
Ooo, ooo! Know what else I saw? You know those modern-art-type '80s houses with all of the glass and white and chrome? You know, the ones that every '80s movie and TV character got right after they struck it rich and got all trendy and lost all their friends and had to reevaluate their entire existence? I saw one! Like, in real life as I was driving home. That was just weird, because I saw one the other day in an
Amazing Stories rerun and I thought they had all faded out of existence, like Robert DeNiro's self-respect as an actor and Dick Cheney's immortal soul.
And now your moment of zen ...
