Sep. 26th, 2007 03:11 pm-- So I take it that if Keystone's sending me paperwork to paying for classes that I'm sort of a student. Or something. I don't know. I can barely pay my bills right now, so I took one look at one more "Give us money!" set of documents and my eyes crossed.

-- My laptop is supposed to come today. It's got two hours, and I'm not leaving this apartment until it shows or until I've tried it out. I hope everything works, damn it. I just really don't want to deal with one more frustration these days. God knows I spend enough time worrying about money these days as is. (EDIT: My laptop's here! My laptop's here! Now to pry open the box and test it out ... *crosses fingers*)
-- Speaking of which, I got a birthday card from my aunt and uncle, which is nice, but it was just a nice card with no money, which kind of made me want to cry and not in a, "But ... but I wanted to spend it on crap!" kind of way.
-- I'm also getting a sneaking suspicion there's a surprise party in my future. I'm probably wrong but I just ... I mean, I don't want a party or for anyone to make a big deal, but I'm turning thirty and I still do kind of want them to make a big deal. So this whole thing where I have no money and my mom's going for surgery in Philly tomorrow on her neck and Saturday's going to be me and a six-pack of Smirnoff (if I can afford it) alone in my apartment is just sad.
-- I'm currently downloading Journeyman, Chuck, Boston Legal, and the newer version of the Reaper pilot, because I know they changed stuff. Maybe this time I'll like the ending more. (I mean I like the humor and the actors, but the action sequence at the end didn't sit right with me the first time around. *shrugs*)
