It's flurrying and the wind keeps blowing hard but it's not enough, damn it. They promised me half a foot of snow two days ago and now ... nothin'. *grumbles* I want it now while I'm home, not in four days when I have to drive to work.

I'm stalled on my Yuletide. I mean, I know what I have to do to fix it, but I'm still working out the 'how' in my head. Hopefully I can get it done today and out of my way and I won't have to worry about it anymore.

Also on my to-do list for today -- my DMIDS outline. It's almost halfway done on the wall, which will mean rewriting it on the computer, which will THEN mean sketching it out again on the wall. I'm letting myself take a lot of punishment to rewrite a book that's finished already, albeit badly.

I don't want to crawl out from under my afghan but I'm going to have to eventually because I barely have any Pepsi left. Which'll mean leaving the house and going out in the windy cold. *pouts*

I'd say something about auto bailouts and shady governors with weatherman hair, but my brain is not really up for the complicated thinking today. Urgh.

"These are the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing’s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. Bold the ones you've read, underline the ones you read for school, italicize the ones you started but didn't finish."

The list )

Oh, man, that makes it look like I read nothing. *pouts*

And for added fun, the shows I'm currently watching:

1. Merlin (First series almost over)
2. Never Mind The Buzzcocks (Series over, unless they decide to whip the Russell Brand episode out)
3. Pushing Daisies (Cancelled, because ABC sucks)
4. Supernatural
5. Gossip Girl
6. Top Chef (which only lasts until March, I think)

So, barring an actors' strike, I'll only be watching two shows by the end of the current season. Faaaaabulous. (I should say that I'm not currently counting Verbotene Liebe, if only because it's not like I'm watching the whole show, just one storyline. And they're not even showing that storyline right now, SO.)

BLARGH.

[Poll #1314106]

(Okay, so I don't have it that bad. I do have two thousand words, after all, and a point where if I did decide to just say, "To hell with it," I could break it off somewhat comfortably. But I don't plan on it breaking it off there, SO.)

1. An ending for my Yuletide in sight. I think.
2. More Pepsi and a bag of Cheetos.
3. The makings for two batches of cocoa rum balls.
4. The handheld crank thing for chopping walnuts that my mom's had forever, which she let me have because she's got an electric choppy thing now. YAAAY. \o/

I don't get to make the rum balls until I finish my Yuletide. And I'm going to get the damn thing done tonight if it kills me. (I know I've said that every one of the past few days, but still.)

OMG.
