... and it's neither of the jobs I interviewed for.
In fact, it's for a job that supposedly got sent my resume through HotJobs (certainly not by me, since I double-check location before I send them out). It's in Camp Hill. That's all the way on the other side of the damn state.
*sigh*
I really can't handle moving right now, monetarily or mentally, especially not to a part of the state where I know no one. So the offer's appreciated, really, it's just really frustrating to be waiting on phone calls on two other possibilities and have another one I can't take pop up.

Oh, hey, guess what I forgot to do?
Jul. 22nd, 2009 09:01 pmThe vid post for last night's AGT, that's what. *headdesk*
I'm just going to link to the good ones really quick, because there were so few of them:
This is Charles DeWayne Dorsey, a singer. He's fantastic.
This is Duo Design, a pair of Polish acrobats. While I don't think they can carry an entire show in Vegas, I think they're great performers and I love their accents.
This is Ishaara, a Bollywood dance troupe. I'm thrilled to see them in the competition, and I do think they're talented, but I would have preferred they use music that wasn't from Slumdog Millionaire if only because it's such an easy choice. "Oh, let's pick Jai Ho!" I mean, I love that song, but ... well.
And for those who have no embarrassment squick, this is Heavy Vee, a dancer. She's not really good, but then Nick comes out onstage and ... well, it was the moment of the whole night. :D
For those not following along, the auditions end tonight. Next up -- Vegas, baby!

Bwahahahaha!
Jul. 22nd, 2009 10:26 pmI'm sorry, but did Bravo move up the premiere of this next season of Top Chef to the day before Project Runway premieres on Lifetime? Because I could have sworn it started on August 26, and now I just see a commercial for Top Chef saying it starts on August 19.
Aw, Bravo. You're an entire network of awesomely catty bitches, aren't you? ;D
*
I blame my picking up the Lady Whistledown books one by one for my sudden desire to write a Regency fantasy novel.
Clearly I should be kept away from romance novels altogether.
*
Art Smith is goddamn adorable in this episode of Top Chef Masters. HEE. :)
