Um, surprise?
Jun. 1st, 2010 07:58 pmI didn't know until I was driving home today that America's Got Talent starts up again tonight. Yay! My favorite awful talent show is back! Oh, I love my little trainwreck. Hey, maybe Leonid will try out again. Okay, probably not, but I miss the ginormous bastard. The last time I saw him was in the video montage of people who tried out for season two of Make Me A Supermodel. (Come on, Bravo! Leonid the Magnificent! Anybody could make Ben and Ronnie supermodels. Try a challenge for a change!)
Of course, I haven't even started finishing editing Heroine Addiction like I was supposed to today. I got a bit caught up today in finding a therapist (think I've got one, and at the very least have a phone number to call 24/7 if I just want to talk to someone now), checking with my mechanic (hopefully he'll have it done by Thursday, but I'm trying not to hold my breath), and trying to get assistance with my water bill (nope).
I still suck at my job and cannot WAIT to get tomorrow over with. If I'm lucky, they won't bait and switch the two of us who are supposed to go back to the returned mail section and be all, "We think you need another day on the phones." No, no! I suffered enough!
Still no calls from any of the part-time or full-time jobs I applied for. Le sigh.
EDIT: I forgot that Howie Mandel is taking over David Hasselhoff's seat on the panel. On one hand, NO, NOT THE HOFF! On the other hand, I can only imagine that will mean 80% fewer instances of the phrase, "This is what this show is about!" this season.
