There are not enough hours in the day, or week, or month for that matter.

So I was supposed to have this weekend off, but yesterday my day job offered overtime today from nine to one. I jumped at that -- hey, it's only four hours, right? -- but about an hour or two after we all showed up the supervisor offered to let us stay until five for a full eight hours of overtime, so I took it. (Regardless of the fact that because of my vacation days earlier in the week, it's not actual overtime until I work forty full hours, so it was just at my regular pay rate.)

But, yeah. That ate up a whole day's worth of writing time right there.

Even after all of the hubbub today, though, I came home to find three things in the mail I'd been waiting for -- a new Fly Pen (my other one broke, and it comes in handy for NaNo), my bone marrow donor testing kit (which I promptly did, put back in the envelope, and ran down the block to mail), and my financial aid paperwork for school. I'm going to need to take it up to my parents' house tomorrow so my dad can translate it from financial-ese to idiot for me, but I have it and that's all that I need.

Aaaaand I just got done eating dinner and watching this week's SPN -- and seriously, y'all, this season is getting better with every passing week, I swear to God -- so now I am going to sit down and see about busting out some words to add to my word count.
