-- Oh, look, LJ's still up and down. *eyeroll* It hasn't really been much a problem with me since it started since I've been at work and trying to get my homework done, but today I'm staying home to wind down and work on school stuff and I'm pretty sure today will be the day it starts to bug me.

-- You know what I noticed the other day? Magnitude from Community = Lee from the first two Harry Potter movies = Luke from season two of Project Catwalk. I thought it was him after the school election episode but I had to check IMDb just to be sure.

-- I watched the first episode of The Borgias and mostly I'm just waiting for Cesare and Lucrezia to make out. Am I supposed to be rooting for the sneaky murderer to make out with his fourteen-year-old sister? 'Cause ... yeah. Also, I was listening to "The Vatican Rag" the other day and thought that somebody really needs to vid that. It's so wrong that it's right.

-- I adjusted my fall schedule again last night so that now I'm taking my phys ed requirement on Fridays and College Writing 102 and psychology on Saturdays and Sundays. I think I'm good where I stand with this set-up. I know I need that phys ed class and College Writing, and the psych class should fit my science requirement, although I'm definitely going to check with my advisor just to make sure. Quite frankly, I want to meet with my advisor anyway just to discuss the Books of Boggs situation. (Current status: On hold due to the Mystery Option Behind Door Number Three and waiting on other stuff, but happily there's no deadline and honestly, it's going to have to wait until school is over for summer anyway.)

-- Speaking of school, I'm participating in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk on April 30th in Scranton through my job with the intention that it'll fit my service learning requirement, but I really have to check with my professor to make sure.

-- Yesterday Otis and Simon got into a ludicrously violent row in the bedroom. I ran in and broke it up, but I'm a little impressed at this point that I haven't cracked and taken Simon back already. He's just such a sweetie and has slept with me almost every night since he came here, but the two of them just aren't getting along any better.

-- It's sunny out, you guys. THE SUN EXISTS. I almost didn't believe it was real when I woke up. Wheeeeeeeee!

I feel all accomplished and stuff.

Apartment: CLEAN! (Well, mostly.)
Algebra take-home test: DONE. (And checked against an online algebra calculator, too, because I really would like to avoid taking the final if possible.)
Computer homework: DONE.
Powerpoint presentation: ... okay, I figured out where to get my info and what my outline needed to include. But I think I can get everything done pretty quickly, since I'm already fairly familiar with the subject matter.

I'm trying to remind myself about other things I need to do, like organize my WIPs and answer my email and clean the cat litter, but mostly I just want to curl up in a ball in bed and stare into space. Somewhere between the weather, work, school, and not sitting down to write in forever and a day, I am totally mentally shot.

In other news, I'm getting the refund on the rest of my student account balance on Friday and I'm thinking about getting a new MP3 player to replace my Zune, which konked out on me last week. It figures it would konk out right around the time Microsoft discontinues the damn things. Heh. That said, I have to look around to see if I can find a nice one that has as much memory as possible for $200.

And while I'm at it, I have to find a way to find a rare vintage toy for sale that my mom and I have been looking for forever. Or at least it feels that way. My dad is really easy to buy for if you just try replacing all the toys he had when he was a kid. One Christmas, Mom got him a Johnny Seven gun, and I got him the lunchbox he had as a kid for Father's Day one year. There's one particular toy we can't find anywhere, even on eBay. It's starting to turn into the Holy Grail Of Dad's Childhood Toys, seriously.
