Status of the writer, Camp NaNo edition

That book that I started that I still don't have a working title for:

6149 / 50000 (12.30%)

The bad news is that I'm supposed to be 10,000 words farther than I am right now. However, on the plus side:

1. Six thousand words is still more than I've written in months.
2. The former agent-shaped person took a look at it and gave me pointers and now it actually has something vaguely like direction.
3. Because of said direction, it means more Everett and Morris in the relatively near future. And also, this is in the Heroine 'verse, so yay for that.

I still want to come up with a firm title, if only because I work much better when I have a title. It's a little thing, but it drives me up the wall when I don't have one.

Hi, I'm Jennifer, and I've somehow become addicted to Kate and Will.

They're just so CUTE. My brother described it perfectly - they're like your buddy and his cool girlfriend, not like ... you know, the heir to the British throne and his hot wife. And he always looks at her with this giddy smile like, "How did *I* land such an awesome wife?!" and you kinda just want to grab him and go, "Oh, hon, losing your hair aside, you're both cute AND nice AND the future king of England."

I want to write hopelessly drippy hearts-and-kittens domestic fic with the two of them chasing around an adorable toddler.

Also, I want to raid Kate's wardrobe. My GOD, how is it that she owns nothing that's hideous? I even liked the maple leaf hat, for Pete's sake.

ARGH.

There, I have a title. And it works a lot better than the last one and I like it, so it stays.

Meanwhile, I am still ridiculously behind on my word count. Then again, I'm writing! \o/
