Me: G'way, m'sleepin'. *rolls over*
Otis: Mom ... *taps me again*
Me: Otis, knock it off. *pulls blanket over head*
Otis: MOM. *another tap*
*the sound of chewing wood can be heard from two feet away from the couch*
Me: One of the kids is out, isn't he?
Otis: Yeah, he's chewing on the telephone table. It's okay, though, I've been sitting on the rocking chair watching him do it.
Me: ... gee, thanks. *rolls eyes, gets up to catch Dexter*
