In summation, YULETIDE.
Dec. 25th, 2009 04:37 amSo I fell asleep on the couch and didn't get to check Yuletide until just now, but I have read my gift story and it is EXACTLY what I wanted for the prompt I asked for.
The First Duty Of An Officer (Lost In Austen)
One of the reasons I loved Lost In Austen is because it took a character in George Wickham that I had previously disliked (it did much the same thing to Lydia, and made her adorable) and gave him an endearing edge while still keeping him both charming and sneaky. This story is so very Wickham. He's like a wicked little Santa not worried about his own reputation as he wanders around giving everybody else a bit of a treat. I love that man. :D
I've also already gotten a positive comment for one of my stories from the recipient, which makes me happy. Yay, Yuletide!
