Oh, man, those GG recaps. He used to write those fuckers (don't know if he still does) like the show was a major component of his doctorate thesis. I liked GG and it could put out some really great writing on occasion, but there is no way it deserved the intensely analytical thirty-five-page recaps/love sonnets/tongue baths he used to write.
And now ... seriously, I wasn't even joking about the AI recaps. I'm not reading them, really, but I wanted to check out something about the end of the performance episode this week, started at the last page and ended up going back through three whole pages worth of him blabbering on and on before I finally got to anything remotely related to the episode. And even that's hard to decipher, since he spends most of his recaps talking about shit in this way that's like, "I was thinking the other day about how nuclear proliferation is just like the way Tim Urban can't hit that high note," which leaves me just kinda sitting there thinking, "Dude, if you really want so very much to talk about other unrelated bullshit when you're supposed to be snarking on a television show, get a blog. Or how about some friends?"
