Without elaborating, I have never wanted to reach through a computer and smack a higher-ranking emloyee for being smug, condescending, and verbally patting my head in an enraging tone as I wanted to today.

I think the only thing stopping me from losing my job due to starting some shit in the hallways is that this particular higher-up is in Texas, and it's probably a lot easier to be snide and snotty over email.
